#183 Energy Infrastructures Ltd. (PEI) is looking for a Dutch engineering company with expertise in the field of hydrogen pilot planning and construction

PEI is looking for a Dutch expert with an emphasis on practical experience at actual sites, to work with on the characterization of technical, environmental, and engineering specifications, as well as safety and regulation requirements.

Energy infrastructures Ltd., the national fuel and energy infrastructure company in Israel, which is fully (100%) owned by the government of Israel, considers renewable energies an integral part of its future mix of activity, and is interested in preparing optimally for the study and implementation of technologies. The storage of energy through renewable hydrogen, and through alternative technologies, constitutes a fundamental element of the company's vision.

Hydrogen is an energy carrier with the potential for transportation and storage applications on a significant scale, and the company sees great importance in the implementation of hydrogen knowledge and technology. It has therefore chosen to develop a hydrogen cycle that will demonstrate the functionality of a system that will operate in the form of an energetic island.

The system will produce renewable hydrogen via a PV powered electrolysis. We will utilize compressed hydrogen as well as an innovative Israeli technology for hydrogen storage and production. The hydrogen will be released upon demand, or in case of power outage to supply the facility current needs and critical needs backup. The system will also include battery storage and EV charging stations and will enable the development of hydrogen knowhow while comparing hydrogen production and storage technologies.
